During my trip I took 4 planes. And 4 different companies. The least I can say is there was real difference quality wise. All trips were done in economy (don’t get me started on that :p). So let’s start:
Amsterdam Houston
Continental airlines.
The food was insipide, the crew members either old or unfriendly but most of the time both. The selection of movies were pretty lame and limited.

Houston Denver
United Airlines
It was a US domestic flight so you can say a bus. The crew were not existent and no meal on board (you can purchase few snacks). No movies no entertainemnt.

Denver NYC-Jfk airport
Delta Airline The crew was young and super friendly No meals but one film. And an amazing annoucement (with a lot of humor, well shot and etc).

KLM
Crew decent but barking during the annoucements
Horrible flight: food was awefulll ( needless to say for a Dutch company I guess). Only shared screens without any interaction possible. Just lame.seriously WTF
